I often create these vision desktops as a way set out intentions of the things and beliefs I would like to bring into my life.  Also it's a visual reminder of all the people and things I love to keep me grateful :)  I will relate to you what some of the things I chose for this vision board mean to me.  The cottage looking house is my dream house someday I would love to live in a pretty place in that pretty house!  The fresh fruit is a reminder to me to remember to make healthy choices with food.  My family I love and want continued health and happiness for both of them.  The money tree is pretty self explanatory!  Most of us could use one of those puppies in the backyard!

The steps are the desire for my business to grow and be successful, the dreams words are a reminder for me that to keep having new dreams is important.

Begin with a blank canvas that will suit your desktop size.  Mine is 1024x768 on my pc.  Another common size is 1200x800 for a widescreen or laptop.

There are no set guidelines to creating your vision board desktop.. just lot's of wishes and imagination.  I often dig through my files for inspiration and something catches my eye to get me started.  Even a simple flower can hold whatever meaning you attach to it.  Maybe it represents growth to you or beauty or living in the now.

Another resource I use alot is google.  If you go to google.com and type in a word like flower

then click on Images

You will get a whole ton of great pictures to use.  If you click on a thumbnail you will be taken to the site that hosts that picture.  You may need to click on this link to see the picture in it's full size

Once you get to the picture you must RIGHT CLICK and choose copy or save picture as to save the picture to your computer or paste it into psp.  Don't use a picture if the site asks you not to.  This is just for fun and I don't want you in trouble for taking and using pictures you shouldn't.  It is a good resource to find something you want to include on your personal vision board but not a resource for any other purpose.

So know you add and move and rotate and move layers up and down.  Colorize, resize and add effects and words.  The options are endless and you can create these for all sorts of reasons and times in your life!

I hope you create a vision board for your desktop!
